However, Prince Sguri has endured a heartfelt journey with ups and downs, particularly with his previous executive team.

Under the previous team’s management, Prince Sguri’s music was pushed with questionable quality and what appears to be rushed administration, with the team failing to properly credit the artists, including Prince Sguri himself, who was supposed to be the main act. The team even went as far as dropping music with their own “guru crew” name falsely labeled as the artist. This mismanagement makes it hard to place him higher on the list.

Despite these potholes, Prince Sguri’s skills are evident in his pure Gospel lyrical content and beautiful lyricism. The wonderful impact he is making through his local church and his mentorship of the upcoming new generation of SA CHH artists in his neighborhood cannot be overlooked. His “Kumnandi ku Krestu” events are a great contribution to the growth of the South African Christian Hip Hop scene. This then also makes it hard for us to not include him in the list.
